How it works

Three clicks. No new workflow.

Keep watching the same video in the same player. voced handles subtitles, translation, timing and speech.

01

Open a video

Use regular YouTube. There is nothing to copy, download or upload.

02
VOICE-OVER LANGUAGE🇷🇺 Russian ⌄

Choose language and voice

The extension uses captions when possible and can fall back to the video's audio.

03

Listen in sync

The original sound is lowered while translated speech follows the video's timing.

Clear limits

Hear the result before you register.

When a long video reaches your available time, voced returns to the original audio and shows one clear next step.

Already generated? A matching video, language and voice is reused from the shared cache without charging the next viewer again.
A useful tool, not magic

Best for videos where your eyes are already busy.

Lectures, visual tutorials, interviews and long explanations — the moments when reading subtitles competes with the content.

Where it works well

  • Programming and software tutorials
  • Lectures, interviews and conference talks
  • Background listening when subtitles are impractical
  • Videos without a native audio track in your language

What to expect

  • iA new dub needs processing time before it can play
  • iThis is synchronized voice-over, not lip-sync
  • iUnavailable and some age-restricted videos may fail
  • iDesktop Chrome is supported today

Built by an independent developer

The goal is not to pretend AI replaces the original speaker. It is to make useful videos listenable when subtitles get in the way. Feedback goes directly into the product.

Questions

Before you install.

What happens when my video is longer than the free time?

voced voices the available part. At the limit, the original audio returns. A guest is offered sign-in for 60 free monthly minutes; a signed-in user is offered additional hour packs.

Do I need an account to test it?

No. The first 15 minutes work without registration or a card. An account is needed to increase the free quota, keep credits and make a payment.

Doesn't YouTube already dub videos?

YouTube's native audio track is the simplest option when it exists. voced is for videos and target languages where the audio track you need is unavailable.

Are existing dubs free?

A matching cached video, language and voice can be reused without generating it again. You only spend quota on newly generated seconds.

What data is processed?

The service receives the YouTube video ID, selected language and voice to generate and cache a dub. If you sign in, your account ID and email are used for authentication, quota and billing. Basic product events help us find broken steps; data is not sold for advertising.

Which languages are available?

English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, Indonesian, Bengali, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Try it on a video you already want to understand.

The first 15 minutes work before sign-in. That is the demo — not a marketing video.
